Pixel Lineage Heirloom Locations

Find every Pixel Lineage heirloom location by difficulty, plus each heartblood boss drop and the fastest order to farm them across all three tiers.

Heirlooms vs. Heartbloods: Know Which Farm You're On

Two collectibles drive race progression, and they come from completely different places. Mixing them up is the fastest way to waste a session clearing a zone that was never going to drop what you needed. That's why Pixel Lineage heirloom locations get searched so often — the map is short, but it isn't obvious.

Below you'll find every Pixel Lineage heirloom location broken out by difficulty, the boss tied to each heartblood, and a farming order that keeps backtracking to a minimum.

Four structural facts are worth memorizing before you route anything:

  • Normal difficulty holds exactly two heirlooms.
  • Hard difficulty adds heirloom drops across five separate zones.
  • Slime difficulty is where the list opens up, with seven race heirlooms spread across six zones.
  • Hollow Sky is the one zone that covers two races at once, so it rewards a repeat clear.

Normal Difficulty Heirloom Locations

Start here. Normal has the smallest drop pool in the game, and the two heirlooms available are the ones most players collect first.

RaceZoneSource enemy
HumanSun Meadow WildsGoblin Chief
GoblinCursed ForestRot Thing, Alpha of the Blight

Because those are the only two heirloom drops on the tier, there's no routing puzzle. Grab the Human heirloom from the Goblin Chief in Sun Meadow Wilds, then move to the Cursed Forest for the Goblin drop off the Rot Thing, Alpha of the Blight.

Pick whichever of the two matches your current build first. You'll be clearing both zones while leveling anyway, so neither choice costs you extra time. Just don't hold out for a third heirloom on Normal — the tier is deliberately thin, and every remaining race requires stepping up.

Hard and Slime Difficulty Heirloom Locations

Hard difficulty is where the map starts branching. Heirloom drops appear in five zones:

ZoneTier
Moonstone RiseHard
The DungeonHard
The UnderworldHard
The Withered MeadowHard
The Drowned CathedralHard

That zone list tells you where to look, but it doesn't break out which race sits in which zone. Confirm the drop on the encounter before settling into a long farm — five zones is enough ground to cover that a wrong guess costs you a full run.

Slime difficulty is the opposite problem: lots of drops, several overlapping zones. Here's the full breakdown.

Three of those Slime zones — Moonstone Rise, the Withered Meadow, and the Drowned Cathedral — also appear in the Hard-tier list. If you still owe heirlooms from Hard, clear those three first and you may knock out both tiers in one pass.

Hollow Sky deserves a special mention. It covers Celestine and Nightborn, so if you need both, run it until each drop lands before moving on. Leaving one behind means a second trip to the same zone later.

Every Heartblood Boss Location

Heartbloods only drop from bosses, so each one is a planned trip rather than something you stumble into. The boss-to-race pairing is consistent, which makes a full sweep practical in a single session.

Not namedCelestineThe drop is listed alongside the Dwarf heartblood, but no boss is attributed to it — verify the encounter before building a route around it

The Mother Blight encounter hands over both the Human and Sylvian heartbloods in a single fight, which makes it the highest-value stop on the circuit. If you're chasing either race, do that fight before anything else on the boss list.

Two gaps are worth flagging so you don't hunt for something that isn't there. The Celestine heartblood doesn't have a named boss attached in the drop list, and no heartblood is listed for Tideborn at all. Treat both as unconfirmed and check the encounter itself rather than assuming a source.

Farming Order and Full Race Reference

Working the tiers in sequence beats cherry-picking. Every zone in Normal is required anyway, Hard unlocks the material you can't get earlier, and Slime covers the widest spread of races.

Steps 3 and 4 overlap on three zones, so front-load those if you're behind on Hard-tier drops. Step 5 can be run in any order, but starting with Mother Blight gives you two heartbloods before you've touched the rest of the list.

Four races — Sylvian, Mushroom, Stonekin, and Dwarf — show up in the heartblood list but not in any confirmed heirloom zone above. The Hard-tier zone set is the only one without a race-by-race breakdown, so that's where to look first. Confirm the drop on the encounter before committing to a long farm.

What the Locations Don't Tell You

Where a heirloom comes from has no bearing on how the evolved race plays. Attack, defense, and stat distribution differ from race to race, and those numbers matter more to your build than the farming route does. Check the stats for the race you're evolving into before you spend materials — a fast unlock you never use is still a wasted unlock.

FAQ

Where are the Pixel Lineage heirloom locations on Normal difficulty?

Only two exist: the Human heirloom from the Goblin Chief in Sun Meadow Wilds, and the Goblin heirloom from the Rot Thing, Alpha of the Blight in the Cursed Forest. Everything else requires Hard or Slime difficulty.

Which boss drops the Slime heartblood?

Hollow Light awards the Slime heartblood. If you also need the Slime heirloom, Moonstone Rise is the zone to clear for that drop, so plan the two separately.

Can one boss give two heartbloods?

Yes. Mother Blight awards both the Human and Sylvian heartbloods in a single fight, making it the most efficient stop on the boss circuit.

Do any zones drop more than one heirloom?

Hollow Sky covers both Celestine and Nightborn. Three Slime-tier zones — Moonstone Rise, the Withered Meadow, and the Drowned Cathedral — also appear in the Hard-tier zone list, so those clears can serve two tiers at once.
